Name of the city  Tame - Arauca

Tame is one of the municipalities located in the southwest of the department of Arauca (Colombia) 343 meters above sea level, on a plateau of the last foothills of the Eastern Cordillera, which falls encased by the slope of the Tame and Cravo

This region, which begins in the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy and continues downwards, is also made up of acid savannas, sometimes concave, a phenomenon in which they manifest poorly drained; However, there are fertile soils in the foothills that allow for demanding crops.
